Frakture: Instant Expansion.

St Brides Church, Liverpool, England.
Free Improvised classical musical group, Frakture, are holding another
of their popular gigs featuring an international quintet. The cities
of Cologne, Wuppertal , Hamburg, Seoul and Liverpool are all represented
in the quintet Instant Expansion whose distinctive sound is a rich
mix or strings, saxophone, electronics and the mezzosoprano voice
of Ge-Suk Yeo.

A
remarkable quintet that formed for performances in Cologne and Wupperthal
in 2003. They create free improvised music of ethereal beauty and
haunting mystery.
They
incorporate a variety of styles and extended techniques into their
music, exploring and blurring the differences between sound music,
electronics and tonality.
Frakture, are holding another of their popular gigs featuring an international
quintet.The cities of Cologne, Wuppertal Hamburg, Seoul, Liverpool
are all represented in the quintet INSTANT EXPANSION whose distinctive
sound is a rich mix or strings, saxophone, electronics and the mezzosoprano
voice of Ge-Suk Yeo. This will be the groups third “instant
expansion “ having previously performed in Germany in Cologne
and Wupertal at the Klappstuhlfest
