EIGHT DAYS A WEEK "FROM THERE AND HERE"
Art must show and go back into it, so the credo of "Eight Days A Week" directly from the slope of Lebenszusammen- people. Therefore were in the different activities that were developed from a collaboration of artists and cultural professionals from Cologne and Liverpool developed since 1997, from the outset devices specially in Cologne very different cultural and society included everywhere in the city. The slope of the inner city and suburbs should be aware repealed.  Eight Days- A-Week initiative was launched, differently to all kinds to allow replacement in the form of regular meetings and cultural events an on going experience between people from Liverpool and Cologne.

The three events that lead this year in October 2014 under the motto "FROM THERE AND HERE" the
Liverpool-Cologne dialogue continued, for this reason share of cultural and social places in the rather nondescript city book Forestry and ruler located. Right there, sharing in the former Arbeiterstadt-, to be shown how much the medium-specific living environment and tradition are linked to each other and shape the existential experiences of people.

In the Church of the Resurrection in forestry can book more than a dozen artists from Liverpool and Cologne, in a three-day Malaktion with the expression of their Individual artistic approaches a 30 meter long painting arise, the intersections Cultural experience and individual development brings into view.
A program of - performances, concerts, talks and literary lectures accompanied the painting action.
In the new gallery Kunstmeile book a forestry exhibition focuses on aspects of the perception of urban environments based on photographs from the Liverpool of the late 1960s and the present and the photo views of today's forestry book.

Photography is experienced, equally inspired as a medium of soberly-accurate everyday perception and poetic reverie by the magic of memory and relatives met. The exhibition "demons" directs with a compound of the photo collages of John Heartfield and the paintings of Hieronymus Bosch in the gallery display in ruler finally paying attention to elementary structures of power. The demonic portraits of known and unknown men who largely determine their financial and decision-making power with the course of world events show that the diabolical and evil has disappeared in our democratically-modern Western culture in any way.
